Founded in 2007, Safe Streets is an organization that works to prevent violence & shift community norms in Baltimore. At their community sites folks employed as violence interrupters build relationships with high risk youth and young adults to mediate conflicts and connect residents to resources.
During the Summer of 2019 Safe Streets was able to expand from four community sites to a total of nine. This media campaign was made to communicate the expansion, and was displayed on bus shelters, billboards and the vehicles of an east west MTA bus line.
